RetroMagaz are the sellers of emotions and impressions. Their product gives you an opportunity to relax after a stressful day and immerse yourself in the exciting game world.

The website of RetroMagaz was built on a primitive CMS using template-based solutions. The guys wanted to differentiate their company from other market players, create a unique web design, and optimize the work of an online store.

Most importantly, users of the client’s website didn’t get the impression that they are in their gaming element, they didn’t feel understood here, nor did they feel like a part of gaming culture.

The client contacted us with a request to redesign the website and increase its financial return. The guys also realized that their company needed a cool new corporate identity.

Improved usability of the company’s website

Inconvenient site navigation prevented users from quickly finding the necessary products when choosing from a large assortment, many basic functions were working incorrectly, and the company’s services were not presented in a proper manner.

We restructured the website, redesigned the menu to display a list of games for different consoles with a breakdown by genre, which makes it easier to find the most popular product group. We also developed an interactive guide, but more on that later on the slider 🙂

Created a new corporate identity

In parallel with website redesign, we were searching for a new visual language that would suit RetroMagaz.

The newly-created corporate identity reinforced the feeling of a unique gaming atmosphere: bright colors, pixel art, large product thumbnails. We used a non-standard blue color for the website background with an option to switch to a more traditional light color scheme.
