Client and problems encountered

CASTA is a new youth brand of eyeglasses. The brand had a clear understanding of the target audience, product packaging, presentation, brand book and all the rest of it.

Casta used to sell everything offline, but this time they decided to launch their own e-commerce platform. The company made it clear from the outset they didn’t want to build just another online store. Instead, they intended to design everything in accordance with the most progressive canons of internet marketing.

The difficulty was that the brand image had to be combined with the user-friendliness of e-commerce product within the framework of this project in a very short time.

Task at hand

We were tasked with launching a minimum viable but fully functional website (MVP) in a speedy fashion, and then quickly increase its functionality and implement new features in a matter of 2.5 months without compromising user comfort.

— Build a website from scratch and import data from the client’s ERP. Keep in mind that information exchange between different systems usually doesn’t happen quickly

— Comply with high requirements to content quality. It’s worth noting that the technical specifications document on SEO was 18 pages long.

— Present the product in a provocatively swanky yet user-friendly manner.

— Increase the website’s sales conversion rate

Configured the functionality

We developed and finalized the design in just three weeks. It would have been impossible to meet such a tight deadline without instant response from the customer.

We added an ophthalmologist appointment booking service, created a “My Account” page, and simplified the checkout process.

Implemented everything necessary for creating a user-friendly online store, and took due account of the peculiarities of this area of online sales activity.
